You can download the full agenda on the following link - 2013 Conference Agenda - but essentially the day will be split up into 2 main sessions.

The morning session will give delegates a chance to define some key messages and a conference statement which we will use to send a key message on mental health to NHS England and NHS Wales.

Meanwhile, the afternoon session will be split up into a series of workshops led by professional trainers on the following subjects:

  • Mindfulness
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
  • NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)
  • Mental Health Promotion
  • Bathe Techniques
  • Emotional Freedom Therapy
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Positive Psychology
  • Safeguarding

Run in conjunction with primhe (Primary Care Mental Health and Education) the event will look at how the well-being of staff and patients can be improved in general practice.

Our target audience is wide ranging but our focus is to bring mental health practitioners and professionals, such as GPs, nurses and psychiatrists together with agencies, commissoners, organisations and policy makers so they can work in collaboration.

Delegate fees are £125 per person for the event with free CPR training available on a first-come-first-served basis. To book your place please download and fill in our Registration Form.

Fees are payable by cheque to "RCGP Wales" or by invoice upon request with further details available from our Project Manager Lesley Hills via email at lhills@rcgp.org.uk or on 029 2050 4516.
