Really Useful Conference 2013

You can now register and download a full programme of the events due to take place at our forthcoming Really Useful Conference in Cheltenham via this site.

The event will be held at Cheltenham Racecourse on Wednesday 9 October and will be offering a series workshops on innovative primary care mental health approaches.

The morning session will give delegates a chance to define some key messages and a conference statement which we will use to send a key message on mental health to NHS England and NHS Wales.

Meanwhile, the afternoon session will be split up into a series of workshops led by professional trainers on the following subjects:

  • Mindfulness
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
  • NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)
  • Mental Health Promotion
  • Bathe Techniques
  • Emotional Freedom Therapy
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Positive Psychology
  • Safeguarding

Run in conjunction with primhe (Primary Care Mental Health and Education) the event will look at how the well-being of staff and patients can be improved in general practice.

Our target audience is wide ranging but our focus is to bring mental health practitioners and professionals, such as GPs, nurses and psychiatrists together with agencies, commissoners, organisations and policy makers so they can work in collaboration.

Delegate fees are £125 per person for the event with free CPR training available on a first-come-first-served basis. To book your place please download and fill in our Registration Form.
