Welsh Declaration For Mental Health And Well-being

The Welsh Declaration for Mental Health and Well-being serves as one of the foundation stones of our organisation and primary care mental health services in Wales.

If you want a full outline of its background, principles and aims please download our The Welsh Declaration for Mental Health and Well-being or Datganiad Cymru ar gyfer Iechyd a Lles Meddwll documents.

You can become involved in supporting the Declaration - either by signing up to the Declaration or by simply pledging to take action in support of one or more of its aims.

You can sign up to the Declaration's aims via our website by filling in either our Rhowch Eich Enw i Lawr Ar Gyfer or Sign Up To The Declaration online forms.

In return, we will keep you informed of our work in developing the Declaration through our various initiatives which you can find out about by exploring the pages within our website.

If you want to extend your commitment beyond signing up, you can also make a simple pledge to take action in support of the Declaration's main aims.

You can do this as an individual, for example, in terms of how you go about your work, or you can pledge to take action across a wider setting, for example, by looking to introduce the Declaration into part or across the whole of your organisation.

You can choose to support one or more of the Declaration's five aims which you can read and download from the following list:

You can introduce any pledge at a pace which you feel is most appropriate and we will not 'chase' you about its implementation.

We will not share your details with other organizations but we may contact you to find out if you want any assistance or advice in getting things started.

For further information about the Declaration, signing up to it or making a pledge please contact us via email at lhills@rcgp.org.uk or on 029 2050 4516.
