WaMH in PC Conference 2013: ‘Engagement and Enhancing Motivation’

This year's WaMH in PC ‘Really Useful Conference’ will be held at Cheltenham Racecourse on Wednesday 9 October looking at innovative approaches in primary care mental health.

Workshop: Engagement and Enhancing Motivation
Speaker: Health and Social Care Consultan Rhoda Emlyn-Jones OBE, MA, CQSW and Dip SW

The workshop will include didactic and experimental elements where  participants will be able to:

  • Explore the spirit, principles and skills central to enhancing motivation
  • Explore intrinsic motivation
  • Explore the nature of behaviour change and match the natural process to worker skills and tasks
  • Enter the ambivalence abyss

Run in conjunction with primhe (Primary Care Mental Health and Education), our conference is focussed on bringing mental health professionals and organisations together in a collaborative setting.

Delegate fees are £125 per person for the event with free CPR training available on a first-come-first-served basis. To book your place please download and fill in our Registration Form.
